Vedanta & Amazon Ancestral Medicines Journey in Brazil - September 4-13, 2025

A Journey of Transformation and Connection

Explore the powerful union between the ancestral traditions of India and Brazil. In the mountains of Petrópolis, where the teachings of Vedanta find their natural space, and in the Amazon rainforest, where ancestral medicines reveal their essence, this yātrā (spiritual journey) offers a unique experience. Whether you are seeking to resolve personal conflicts, deepen your spiritual practices, or reconnect with your essence, this journey is an invitation for transformation and self-discovery.

A Timeless Journey: Reconnecting with the Wisdom That Heals

In modern times, marked by consumerism and self-centeredness, ancestral medicines emerge as a profound and transformative response. More than spiritual practices, they offer a healing path that touches the roots of human existence, helping people find balance and meaning.

Jonas Masetti, an engineer graduated from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia (IME), discovered his true calling by immersing himself deeply in spiritual traditions in India. During four years of intense training under Swami Dayananda Saraswati, he was ordained as an Acharya, a teacher authorized to teach Vedanta. Returning to Brazil, Jonas reconnected with the healing traditions of the Amazon rainforest, learning directly from traditional indigenous families.

Today, Jonas dedicates his life to guiding people from the contemporary Western world into an authentic experience of spiritual transformation, offering a structured and safe path far removed from superficiality and entertainment. Through the yātrā, he brings together the depth of the Vedic tradition with the timeless wisdom of Brazilian ancestral medicines, creating a space for self-discovery and reconnection.

“A Sacred Journey, Not Just a Trip”

In Sanskrit, yātrā means a sacred journey—a profound spiritual expedition beyond physical travel. This is not a retreat or tour; it is a guided process of self-discovery and transformation. Unlike rigid retreats or tours, a yātrā flows intentionally, adapting to the group’s unique needs and energies to foster healing, connection, and awakening.

Our yātrā is led by a traditional structure of spiritual leaders—pajés, masters, and Vedanta teachers—carefully curated by Acharya Jonas Masetti to ensure authenticity and respect for ancestral practices. Traditional medicine is not applied through a fixed schedule but as a dynamic, purposeful dance, responding naturally to the group’s capacities and energy for a truly transformative experience.

“Seamless Logistics, Total Peace of Mind: Focus on Your Journey, We’ll Handle the Rest.”

The entire trip is organized by We Care Host, a company with over five years of experience, responsible for bringing hundreds of people to the Amazon and other extraordinary destinations.

With We Care Host, every logistical aspect is taken care of: transportation, accommodation, meals, and full support throughout the journey. This ensures that you can focus entirely on your self-discovery experience, with complete safety and peace of mind.
